Chiang Announces Several More Mini-cabinet Appointments 林奕華確定接北市副市長 俞振華掌研考會

Taipei City Mayor-elect Chiang Wan-an has announced 10 more of his mini-Cabinet appointments, including KMT lawmaker Lin Yi-hua as deputy mayor. Chiang says he expects the transition will be very smooth.

Taipei City Mayor-elect Chiang Wan-an has announced 10 more of his mini-Cabinet appointments, including KMT lawmaker Lin Yi-hua as deputy mayor; Yilan County Education Director Wang Hung-hsiang as sports commissioner; and National Chengchi University professor Eric Yu as research, development and evaluation chairperson. Wang will be "on loan" from the Yilan County Government, while Yu was a key member of Chiang's campaign team. Lin has less than a year remaining in her legislative term. As she won't be joining Chiang's team until after February, a by-election is not required.

Chiang Wan-an, Taipei City Mayor-elect: “There's a saying: You can easily get 1,000 soldiers, but generals are hard to come by. This past month, Yi-hua has worked really hard as the convener of the transition committee. She has a very clear and thorough understanding of the major infrastructure projects that are currently under construction and I expect the transition to go very smoothly.”

Lin says she has many ongoing projects she wants to see to fruition before joining the city government, and she has gotten Chiang's approval. Chiang, meanwhile, says his first task at hand upon taking office will be visiting with local bureaus and departments.

Chiang Wan-an, Taipei City Mayor-elect: “Once I enter office, I will visit with the city's bureaus and departments to hear their recommendations, better understand their needs and see what issues need to be resolved.”

Chiang says he will wait until he has a better understanding of the operations of the city's four major companies and Taipei Metro, and will consult with various parties, before making any appointments. 

Outgoing Mayor Ko Wen-je, who leaves office on Dec. 25, spent the 23rd packing up his office. He plans to rejoin the medical staff at National Taiwan University Hospital next year.

台北市長當選人蔣萬安發布第4波10位小內閣人事，國民黨立委林奕華將出任副市長，體育局長則是向宜蘭縣府借將由王泓翔接任，競選期間幕後操盤手政大教授俞振華出任研考會主委。外界關注林奕華2月後才就任，立委剩餘任期剩下不到1年，根據選罷法將不必補選，是否刻意規避？

台北市長當選人蔣萬安表示：「所謂千軍易得一將難求，特別這一個月奕華委員擔任交接小組的召集人，有守有為，對於台北市重大建設的方向以及細節她都非常的清楚，所以能夠馬上上手。」

林奕華表示，已經徵得蔣萬安同意，手邊各項重要工作告一段落後，將於明年2月轉換至市府服務；而蔣萬安也透露上任後要做第一件事，就是積極走訪基層局處。

台北市長當選人蔣萬安提及：「上任之後我會積極的走訪我們基層相關局處，來了解他們的需求，有哪些意見，需要解決的問題有什麼。」

至於尚未公佈的４大公司及北捷等相關人選，蔣萬安表示，上任後會積極了解、廣徵各方意見，依照相關法定的程序，選出最優秀的人才。

即將在12月25日卸任的台北市長柯文哲，一早也忙著收拾辦公室打包物品，卸任後將先回到原先任職的台大醫院。
