Wang Hung-wei Mocks Enoch Wu's Politics as Mere Talk 吳怡農拋松機遷建話題 王鴻薇諷高談闊論

The Taipei City legislator by-election continues to focus on the topic of relocation of Taipei Songshan Airport as cast by DPP candidate Enoch Wu. However, KMT candidate Wang Hung-wei mocks it as empty election talk.  

Enoch Wu, Taipei City Legislator By-Election Candidate (DPP): “A lot of interactions with (the media) may have caused displeasure and discomfort for some friends. I hereby apologize to everyone and ask that you try to bear with me.”

Recent interactions with the media triggered some criticisms, whereby DPP Enoch Wu affirmatively apologized. However, the Taipei City legislator by-election continues to focus on the topic of relocation of Taipei Songshan Airport as cast by Wu, and KMT candidate Wang Hung-wei mocks it as empty election talk, followed by indifference post-election.

Wang Hung-wei, Taipei City Legislator By-Election Candidate (KMT): “So many DPP candidates in the past have mentioned relocation of Taipei Songshan Airport, yet why is it that after the Tsai administration has been in office for 6 years, neither the Ministry of Communications nor the Ministry of Defense, has ever mentioned relevant relocation planning?”

Enoch Wu, Taipei City Legislator By-Election Candidate (DPP): “As a legislator, our responsibility is to do everything in our power to coordinate and strive for the central government's approval, meanwhile maximizing public benefit. Hence of course we have to start planning early. This discussion may take many years so we have to start as soon as now.”

Enoch Wu said in response to Wang Hung-wei, that he has raised five concrete policies but does not hear any opposition from his opponent. In respect of Wang Hung-wei's advocating for postponing the decommissioning of nuclear power plants 2 and 3, Wu asks that Wang bring forth feasible substitute plans and deems that nuclear policy cannot disregard the local government's opinion.

Enoch Wu, Taipei City Legislator By-Election Candidate (DPP): “I only ask that after she throws out a motto, to provide friends of the city with a feasible proposal. She can consult with Mayor Hou or new Taipei Mayor Chiang, to hear what they think, since this cannot forego the local government's needs and position.”

Wang Hung-wei, Taipei City Legislator By-Election Candidate (KMT): “The postponement of decommissioning nuclear power plants 2 and 3 is not an old topic. Everyone can see the energy problems worldwide, such as rising energy costs and Taiwan's energy shortage problems. This of course is a current issue.”

Enoch Wu emphasized that he will explain his policies to his constituents to acquire support, insisting on a clean election. Wang Hung-wei, on the other hand, engages in frequent local itineraries and takes on a strategy focusing on a land battle over air combat. 

民進黨台北市立委補選參選人吳怡農表示：「（跟媒體）許多的互動上面，或許造成一些朋友們的不愉快跟不舒服，我也在這邊跟大家說不好意思，也請大家多包涵。」

近日跟媒體互動引發議論，民進黨吳怡農先致歉。不過台北市立委補選，持續聚焦在吳怡農拋出的松山機場遷建話題，國民黨王鴻薇諷刺是選舉高談闊論、選後不聞不問。

國民黨台北市立委補選參選人王鴻薇質疑：「過去這麼多的民進黨候選人，都提過松山機場遷建。但是為什麼蔡政府在執政6年多之後，不管是交通部或者是國防部，從來都沒有提過相關的遷建的規劃？」

吳怡農說：「身為立法委員，我們的職責，我們必須盡全力來協調，爭取中央的同意。我們當然要把公共利益最大化，我們當然要盡早開始規劃，這個討論需要花很多年的時間，所以我們應該是現在就開始。」

吳怡農反問王鴻薇，自己提出5項具體主張、但聽不到對手有哪個不認同。而對於王鴻薇拋出核二、核三廠延役，吳怡農也要王鴻薇提出可行方案，還認為核電廠政策不能忽略地方政府的意見。

吳怡農表示：「我只要求她提出一個口號之後，給市民朋友一個可行的方案。（她）可以跟黨內的侯市長、甚至台北市的蔣市長，來談談他們的想法，因為這個不能忽略地方政府的需求以及立場。」

王鴻薇認為：「核二核三廠的延役，它絕對不是老議題。大家可以看到現在的國際的能源問題、相關能源的飛漲，還有台灣缺電的問題，當然是現下的一個問題。」

吳怡農強調會跟選民解釋政見、爭取支持，堅持乾淨選舉。王鴻薇則勤跑地方行程，打陸戰重於空戰的策略。
