Ko Chooses Vivian Huang to Run for Mayor? 傳柯拍板黃珊珊無黨籍參選 力拚超越藍綠

According to reports, Taipei City Deputy Mayor Vivian Huang will run for Taipei City Mayor as an independent candidate. The pan-green camp has yet to nominate a candidate, with rumors swirling that President Tsai Ing-wen has chosen Chen Chien-jen over Chen Shih-chung. 

According to reports, Taipei City Deputy Mayor Vivian Huang will run for Taipei City mayor as an independent candidate.

Ko Wen-je, Taipei City Mayor: “(Will you ask Mr. Soong to make an appearance to support Deputy Mayor Vivian?) If he can, that'd be great.”

Vivian Huang, Taipei City Deputy Mayor: “Everyone is concerned with party affiliations, but I'm focusing on administration and quality of life. I want to do my job and do it well to improve the lives of city residents.”

Rumors swirling in the pan-green camp say President Tsai Ing-wen has chosen her former deputy, Chen Chien-jen, to run for Taipei mayor. Chen Shih-chung is seemingly retreating from the race as a result.

Chen has not said a word about his candidacy to date. The DPP's election committee will meet on the 5th to nominate candidates for Hualien, Taitung and possibly Taipei as well. Over in Kaohsiung, KMT candidate Ko Chih-en responded to questions about her thesis.

Ko Chih-en, Kaohsiung City Mayor Candidate (KMT): “The scope of how I can use a paper I wrote is clearly defined. If anyone wants to come at me with more malicious lies, I'll see them in court.”

Ko will be setting up residence in Kaohsiung on the 5th and plans to spend six of the next seven days in the south.

年底台北市長選舉備受關注，傳出台北市長柯文哲拍板，副市長黃珊珊將以無黨籍參選，力拚選票超越藍綠。

台北市長柯文哲表示：「（市長之後選舉會不會想辦法）（希望宋主席也能夠出面）（來支持珊珊副市長）哇，有當然是最好啊。」

台北市副市長黃珊珊則表示：「我想這些每天藍藍綠綠在計算啦、棄保啦、合作，我覺得這些都是對市政、民生沒有任何意義，所以可能要做的事情，就是要把自己做好，讓市民過好的生活。」

反觀綠營，北市長人選至今混沌不明，傳出蔡英文總統在等前副總統陳建仁點頭，而這個消息也讓指揮官陳時中萌生退意。

記者提問：「總統，陳建仁有考慮要選新北市嗎？雙北是不是在等一個人，陳建仁。」

前副總統陳建仁回應：「謝謝大家，平安，平安吼。」

不過，陳建仁至今態度不明，民進黨選對會將在5日開會，處理花東縣長提名，屆時是否一併討論北市佈局也受矚目。

而高雄選戰部分，日前剛獲提名的柯志恩，面對論文門爭議，也主動出擊。

國民黨高雄市長參選人柯志恩說：「我自己寫的文章，我自己怎麼樣來做一個使用，本來就以嚴格的一個規範，總而言之，我覺得這個部分裡面，如果再有更惡劣的做法的話，絕對是提告的。」

柯志恩預計5日搬到高雄，未來一週有6天在高雄，週一北上接受電視專訪，強打空戰爭曝光量。
