Cheng Wen-tsan, Taoyuan City Mayor: “We tested 5,972 people in the last two days with one new Askey employee (testing positive) yesterday. There was also one older case that was tested.”
Taoyuan City Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan says the red zone of Farglory Free Trade Zone has been shut down with 3,000 workers electronically tagged. They have been asked to home quarantine for three days and then will get a second and third test. Another 4,500 cargo workers will be tested on the 24th. Taoyuan is urging residents to visit one of the city's 11 community testing stations, particularly in infection hotspots and areas frequented by migrant workers.

Cheng says 69 of the 100 cases in the Askey cluster infection are migrant workers, and 88 percent had had two doses and are asymptomatic or only have mild symptoms. The National Immigration Agency and Taoyuan City Department of Labor are trying to vaccinate as many migrant workers as possible, including those that are in Taiwan illegally, by promising free vaccines and no penalties.

桃園市長鄭文燦:「連續2天採檢的總數是5972人，就昨天新增一位亞旭員工採檢（確診），以及一位舊案匡列採檢。」
市長鄭文燦在防疫會議會後表示，遠雄自貿港區的加值園區列為紅區、停工採檢，3000員工設電子圍籬，並居家隔離3天，做二採、三採，24日將再針對貨運站4500人採檢，坦言自園區清零有挑戰，未來幾天仍是風險期，也加強社區篩檢，包括足跡熱區、移工生活熱區共11個社區採檢站，降低感染風險。
一名採檢民眾表示:「有足跡重疊。」記者詢問什麼時候、在哪裡? 民眾回覆:「大園、鴻佰，那個自貿園區。」
另一名採檢民眾則說:「因為跟足跡重疊，在好市多。」並表示已做完採檢，還要等報告結果。
鄭文燦表示，亞旭電腦群聚事件目前共100人確診，其中確診移工69位，88%有打第二劑，都是輕症或無症狀，移民署和市府勞動局持續安排疫苗施打，針對沒有牌照、逾期居留的移工，不通報、不查處、不收費、不管制，讓移工安心接種。
