Taichung Uses Drone to Disinfect Campus 台中附幼傳播鏈擴大 採檢逾200師生.家長

A transmission chain in Taichung also seems to continue growing as 15 people have been infected from a kindergarten cluster infection. Drones have been deployed to disinfect the campus while the students shifted to online learning.
The drone lifts off. Once it's in position, it begins spraying disinfectant. The drone was operated by Taichung City's Environmental Protection Bureau, and used to disinfect the campus of Taian Elementary School in Xitun District.
The bureau came up with the idea to use a drone to carry out disinfection work. The use of a drone expanded the disinfection coverage, raised efficiency, and improved safety for frontline personnel.
When we disinfect, we normally spray from bottom to top, to the height of the person. When we spray upwards, the angle is about 30 degrees. The drone sprays from top to bottom. We can use drones if we need to disinfect a location where it's not convenient for people to go in and out. This also ensures the safety of our personnel.

A COVID-19 transmission chain was found to have originated at the school's affiliated kindergarten. An announcement made by the city government on May 26 indicated that five individual cases were related. At present, there are 15 cases linked to this cluster, including the director of the kindergarten and two teachers. Two kindergarten students and one elementary school student have also tested positive, although they haven't been assigned case numbers yet. As three grades have been affected, the city government reopened a forward command post to test 200 teachers and students. The testing will affect virtual learning. The city's Education Bureau says it will step up coordination between teachers and parents.
We have already asked the school to communicate closely with parents. Once classes resume, we will make adjustments depending on student requirements. We can work together with parents and teachers to offer assistance during the summer vacation if students have a need.
The bureau says the priority during the disease prevention period is testing, and it will provide assistance to students who need it. The city government said the affiliated kindergarten's director had visited Taipei's Wanhua District, and it will announce the testing results as quickly as possible.

使用無人機消毒，是台中市環保局首創，除了可以擴大消毒覆蓋面，增加效率外，也可以提升第一線人員安全性。
台中市環保局長 陳宏益表示：「通常我們消毒，是由下(往上噴)，人的高度，就這麼高。我們噴上去，角度大約是30度仰角，這次完全，由上對下，人員不方便進出的話，使用空拍機，是保障我們消毒人員的安全。」
泰安國小附幼傳播鏈擴大，根據台中市府26號公布，有5個個案有關係。同一傳播鏈已累積15個確診個案，其中幼兒園主任和2名老師確診，另還包含2個幼兒園學生和1名泰安國小學生還沒有案號。由於擴及國小部3個年級，市府也重啟前進指輝所，對200多名師生篩檢。而影響到線上教學的部分，教育局表示，將加強老師和家長的合作。
台中市教育局主秘 王淑懿表示：「我們已經請學校密切跟家長聯繫，等到復課以後，我們會依學生需求給予加強。如果學生有需求，也可以在暑假期間，透過親師合作來協助。」
教育局表示，防疫期間以配合採檢優先，後續將看學生需求加強協助。市府表示，根據疫調，附幼的主任有萬華旅遊史，感染鏈是否有擴大跡象，會盡快公布篩檢結果。
