The focus of the session will be on constitution, foreign affairs, and cross-strait relations. KMT candidate and former Foxconn CEO Terry Gou said on June 24 that he is still in the process of finalizing his speech with his campaign strategist and writers. He said the speech has not been finalized and he is quite nervous about it.

Eric Chu subtly criticized Kaohsiung Mayor Han Kuo-yu for his constant promotion, he also criticized Terry Gou for spending a huge amount of money in advertising. He said resorting to such aggressive strategies to win in the primaries will only aggravate party in-fighting and is not conducive to team collaboration after the primaries. He said it's not worth it to win the primaries but lose the presidential election.
