NATIONAL FEDERATION OF EDUCATION UNIONS REFUSES TO ATTEND PENSION REFORM CONFERENCE|年改國是會議今舉行 全教產抗議拒出席

Protests are expected to accompany today's national affairs conference, which will address one of the most controversial issues facing our society: pension reform. The National Federation of Education Unions slammed the draft reform proposal, saying that the proposed reforms are completely different from the opinions given in the pre-conference meetings they attended. They also accused the government of smearing them and said they will stage a protest to boycott the event. The PFP stresses that reform must be undertaken with a vision, as well as proper methods and priorities. That is the only way to build a sustainable pension system without creating societal conflict.
