In the latest shooting incident in Nantou County's Zhushan Township, two teenagers fired six shots to their alleged enemies. The victims suffered several wounds in the head, stomach, legs and are in critical condition.Later, the two teenagers turned themselves in.
A shooting incident took place at a convenience store in Nantou County's Zhushan Township. When two men walked out of the store after buying beer, they were shot by two teenagers. The man surnamed Lin sustained two gunshot wounds both in his stomach and leg, the other man, surnamed Chen, were shot in the head. Both have been rushed to the hospital and are currently in critical condition.
We have pinpointed the two suspects through the security camera footage.
The location of the shooting is only 500 meters away from the Zhushan District Police Station, the local police immediately set up a special investigation unit and began searching through the security footage. They found that the two suspects rode on a motorcycle without a license plate, and fired six shots at the victims. The two suspects, surnamed Lin and Chang, turned themselves in to the police at 4 am. They turned out to both be 17-year old teenagers.
The teenager has explained his connection with the victims. We are still investigating the case to find out whether they were instigated by someone else.
The initial investigation has revealed that the suspects had engaged in confrontation with the victims earlier. And when they met again, the suspects followed the victims to a local convenience store and acted in revenge. The police have found the illegally modified weapons suspected to have been used and are tracing their source. The two teenagers will be charged with murder and violation of the Controlling Guns, Ammunition and Knives Act.
