On Dec. 24, former presidential office deputy secretary-general Lo Chih-chiang announced that he intends to run in the 2018 Taipei mayoral election. He said before bidding for the position with the KMT, his first goal is to get over 1 million people to follow him on Facebook by the end of 2017.
