Early this morning, a man in his 20s was arrested after fatally stabbing 15 people and wounding 45 others in Japan's Kanagawa Prefecture. According to local police, the knife-wielding man carried out the attack at Tsukui Yamayuri-en, a facility for the disabled, shortly after 2:30 a.m this morning. Police said they arrested the man when he turned himself in at the Police Station at around 3 a.m. and owned up to the attack. He is reportedly being held on initial suspicion of attempted murder, and he used to work at the facility. The attack may be one of Japan's worst single-perpetrator mass murders in the postwar era.
