國內疫情還是持續，台東縣每年暑假熱門的熱氣球嘉年華會，今年台東縣政府仍然宣布照常舉辦，從7月2日到8月15日一共45天。由於7月15日政府新的振興觀光措施上路，對熱氣球嘉年華會有加分效果，目前45天的熱氣球繫留體驗線上預約都已經額滿。台東縣在今年的振興觀光措施中也被列為特色補助地區，旅宿業正在規畫搭配熱氣球活動的優惠全力搶攻暑假旅遊。

期待很久的台東縣熱氣球嘉年華會，終於在7日宣布正式在池上牧野渡假村舉辦，但才升空兩天，10日傍晚，熱氣球正在進行熱膨脹立球，就發生熱氣球被火燒到的情況，所幸當時沒有載客，駕駛員也馬上熄火降落，沒有造成人員傷亡。
