Question About Pan-green's NT$1,200 Monthly Ticket Policy 綠營推北北基桃1200元月票政策 引發質疑

Each Taipei mayorl acandidates have proposed their transport policies. The DPP mayoral candidates for Taipei, New Taipei, Keelung and Taoyuan have announced to launch a joint tranportation proposal, which is a NT$1,200 public transport pass for Northern Taiwan. Meanwhile, KMT mayoral candidate Chiang Wan-an wishes to re-introducing youbike's first 30 minutes of travel for free policy. VIvian Huang, on the other hand, says the city does not entail disseminating money to go backward, claiming that Chiang's policy is senseless and foolish.
 

Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je and independent Taipei mayoral candidate Vivian Huang attended the opening ceremony together for the renewal of Zhongzi Market in Beitou District on Nov. 9. When asked about the pan-green camp's NT$1,200 monthly ticket policy for Taipei, New Taipei, Keelung, and Taoyuan, and its initial budget is estimated at NT$3.5 billion, Huang criticized by saying policies require purpose, not just monetary benefits.

Vivian Huang, Taipei City Mayoral Candidate (IND): “Each policy requires a purpose and not just simply disseminating money. If your policy cannot convert those self-owners of vehicles to using public transport vehicles, this subsidy is meaningless.”

Chen Shih-chung, Taipei City Mayoral Candidate (DPP): “The spirit of NT$1,200 naturally includes saving some costs and providing certain economic incentives so that people are more willing to use it. But the main spirit lies in regional governance.”

Chen Shih-chung emphasized that the important concept lies in regional governance. As for financial sources, the Executive Yuan responded affirmatively that it will continue to strive for the same in the future. In the meantime, the public is also concerned about when KMT Taipei City mayoral candidate Chiang Wan-an will resign from his legislator post to ramp up the election.

Chiang Wan-an, Taipei City Mayoral Candidate (KMT): “We are soon arriving at the election announcement and official election activities. As soon as we confirm, I will inform everyone.”

While the capital city election continues to confront transportation policies, Chiang Wan-an noted recently that if elected, he will restore the free first 30 minutes benefit of YouBike. Concerning this, Vivian Huang believes this city has been improving for the last eight years, and the improvement of Taipei does not entail disseminating money and bringing it backward. She pointed out that this policy is foolish.

升級版的北投中繼市場11月9日正式開幕，台北市長柯文哲與副市長黃珊珊一同出席典禮，針對綠營推出「北北基桃」1200元月票政策，初估預算約35億元，黃珊珊批評，政策要有目的性不應只是單純發錢。

無黨籍台北市長候選人黃珊珊回應：「政策應該要有目的性，而不只是單純發錢，如果你的政策沒辦法讓自有運具的人跳過去坐公共運輸，這個補貼是沒有意義的。」

民進黨台北市長候選人陳時中則認為：「1200節省費用有經濟誘因，主要精神是區域治理，怎麼讓人民更方便。」

陳時中強調，重要的是區域治理的概念，至於財源，行政院也有正面的回應，未來會持續爭取。而外界也關注國民黨台北市長候選人蔣萬安何時請辭立委，衝刺選情。

國民黨台北市長候選人蔣萬安回應：「那接下來其實很快就要進入到選舉公告，以及正式的選舉活動，我想接下來如果有確定會跟大家報告。」

首都選戰就交通政策持續交鋒，蔣萬安日前表示，若當選上任後擬恢復Youbike前30分鐘免費的優惠，對此，黃珊珊認為這個城市已經進步了8年，台北市的進步不是用撒幣再把它打回回頭路，直言這個政見就是草包。
