A People's Liberation Army aircraft once again flew into Taiwan's air defense identification zone on Oct. 9. The Republic of China Air Force broadcast a message asking it to leave.
This is a Republic of China Air Force broadcast. To the People's Liberation Army aircraft located at an elevation of 7,000 meters in Taiwan's southwest airspace, you have already entered our ADIZ and are affecting our flight safety. Turn around and leave immediately. Taiwan aircraft, I am the People's Liberation Army and currently carrying out a routine training assignment. Please don't interfere with my normal actions.
The PLA has entered Taiwan's ADIZ six times since Oct. 1 and responded to the ROC's broadcast twice, saying it's a routine assignment. The Ministry of National Defense says it is in full control of the situation.
