Fire Occurs at Taichung Paperware Factory|台中紙器廠凌晨大火 一家三口及時逃生

Two fires broke out in Taichung and Yunlin on the first day of the long weekend. Local emergency personnel spent hours putting out the fire and both incidents ended without anyone getting injured.


Flames light up the night sky. The entire galvanized steel structure is on fire, and firefighters use hoses to spray water. They also cut through the sliding gate.

You go handle the fire over there, you take care of that over there.

The interior space was divided into compartments, and firefighters sprayed water as they tried to determine if there were any people inside. The owner, a man surnamed Wang, and two family members lived upstairs and were sleeping but were able to escape in time. They were saddened to see how the fire engulfed the factory.

We were sleeping upstairs when we smelled an odor. We looked over at the head of the flight of stairs and saw it was on fire.

The preliminary conclusion is that the fire at this paperware factory started where the stairs lead from the first floor to the second. The owner was the one who sounded the alarm.

This fire occurred at around 2 a.m. on Oct. 1. The location was a paperware factory in Taichung City's Wuri District. The fire spread very quickly as the structure was made from galvanized steel, the interior was divided into small spaces, and there were piles of finished and semi-finished products everywhere. No one was injured, but the blaze was so intense that it wasn't extinguished until 5 a.m. Meanwhile, a fire occurred at a shop that does engravings in Yunlin County's Beigang Township on Sept. 30. The owner tried to extinguish the fire, and suffered burns for his efforts.

I scooped up water to try and extinguish the fire. Where did you see the flames? I didn't see any flames, but I smelled a bad odor.

The owner also cut the power. The fire almost spread next door. The county's Fire Department sent three squads with 17 firefighters, who were able to extinguish the fire.
