The results of the lot drawing for 19 political parties and their legislator-at-large nominees for the 2020 legislative election were announced on Dec. 18. The political parties nominated a total of 217 legislator-at-large candidates. The Central Election Commission examined the candidates and determined that 216 met requirements. Political parties that receive five percent or more of the political party vote will be allotted legislator-at-large seats.
The Democratic Progressive Party emerged with the number 14 during the lot drawing for 19 political parties and their legislator-at-large nominees for the 2020 legislative election, and immediately began urging the people to vote for "14" and allow the DPP to remain in office and continue protecting Taiwan.
We will do everything we can to let everyone in Taiwan know that the Democratic Progressive Party is a political party that gets things done, a political party that is practical and realistic.
The Central Election Commission held the lot drawing on Dec. 18. All of the political parties sought to come up with pithy sayings to make their resulting numbers memorable. The New Power Party drew the number 6. The Kuomintang obtained the number 9, and said voting for "9" would result in long-term peace and stability, drawing on the fact that the characters for nine and long-term are homonyms. The People First Party will be number 3, and expressed its desire to strengthen the third force.
Long-term peace and stability, the Kuomintang will protect the nation's long-term peace and stability for a long, long time.
The role that the People First Party plays inside the legislature is pulling the left and right, pulling the Democratic Progressive Party on the left and the Kuomintang on the right.
The Taiwan People's Party will be number 15, and urged people to vote for "15" to reboot Taiwan. Green Party Taiwan drew the number 12. All the parties urged people to use ballots to support them and help them enter the legislature to serve the people.
We have so many specialized candidates, who can flourish everywhere and work hard for Taiwan, for this country, for the next generation. We will not give up.
Our small party needs to continue to exist, because the value of Green Party Taiwan does not simply lie, for example, between green and blue. The value of Green Party Taiwan lies in sustainability.
