For example, only one individual event and one team event are allowed for this year's Summer Universiade. There is, however, no clear rule as to the selection of players. That's why we chose Huang Mei-chien, the best player in the women's 100m butterfly. The selection committee just did its job by the book. Lee emphasized the players are recruited and the rule is based on the records from last Summer Universiade. Given that no player met the standard for any individual event, the medley relay was chosen instead. As to the two players in question, Lee said they were recruited just because they are good swimmers in the medley relay.
