On the eve of the 70th anniversary of the 228 Incident, associate research fellow at Academia Sinica's Institute of Modern History, Chen Yi-shen, published a new book on the incident. Former presidential advisor, Peng Ming-min who was originally to give a speech left the venue hurriedly accompanied by academic Lee Hsiao-feng and was unwilling to comment.
