SINGAPORE ENVOY STILL UNDER CONSIDERATION|駐星人事案 李大維:沒規劃黃志芳赴星

Previously, media outlets reported that New Southbound Policy Office Director James Huang would be appointed the representative of the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore. Yet, Foreign Affairs Minister clarified yesterday that the President is still mulling over the issue. It may take at least another month to come up with a final decision. The post of the representative to the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore has been vacant for nearly five months. Media had reported that James Huang, the New Southbound Policy Office director were to be appointed. However it is said that Singapore government objects to this appointment, because James Huang, the then-MOFA minister was involved in monetary diplomatic relations with Papua New Guinea. ==TSAI SHIH-YING, Legislator DPP vs. DAVID LEE, MOFA== Will James Huang never be appointed as the ambassador to Singapore?
