As investigation into the Mega Bank money laundering case is still under way, the Ministry of Finance continued to reshuffle the management team of Mega Financial Holding Company. In the latest update, former Hwa Nan Bank president Bruce Yang has been appointed as the new president of Mega Financial Holdings and the new Mega Bank board members were also announced. Yang officially took office on Sept. 10. Supervised by the Mega Financial Holding Company chairman Michael Chang, the newly appointed Bruce Yang officially took over the presidency of Mega Financial Holdings from the outgoing Wu Hann-Ching.Yang graduated with a business degree from the National Taiwan University who started out as an entry-level staff member and worked his way up. He was the Bank of Taiwan's manager at overseas branches and was also the vice president. He also held executive positions at Hua Nan Bank as a supervisor, director, and the president. ==BRUCE YANG, Mega Financial President== It is with great caution that I take over the presidency. We will strengthen our risk management under the supervision of the board. Former chairman Mckinney Tsai was summoned by the Taipei District Prosecutors Office for the 4th time on Sept. 9th. He was released on a NT$3 million bail. Former chief secretary Wang Chi-Pang was also summoned and indicted in the Mega Bank money laundering case. He was released on a NT$2 million bail and barred from leaving Taiwan.
