TRANSLATED BY：ARIEL HSIEH 因為酒駕引發爭議的新任駐新加坡代表江春男，一接連一週的風波後，9日發出聲明請辭，江春男表示他不求名位，只希望為國家付出奉獻心力，但是他還沒到新加坡就對蔡政府造成困擾，他感到內疚自責。向總統和李部長請辭駐新加坡代表職務。總統府對此回應表示，總統尊重江春男的決定，將另外安排駐新加坡代表人選。立法院外交委員會召委之一、民進黨立委羅致政肯定江春男的決定，避免因為酒駕事件讓國家外交工作失焦。 ==民進黨立委 羅致政== 由於社會輿論的關係 我想他也做出了 請辭的一個決定 這個對他來講 當然是他個人的決定 但我想對整個 台灣外交布局來講 也是一個重新歸位 重新再思考的時候 立法院外交委員會另一位召委、國民黨立委江啟臣，正好是江春男的姪子，江啟臣認同江春男的決定，再次提醒社會不要酒駕，江啟臣認為政論家司馬文武與江春男的掙扎，最後還是司馬勝出。 ==國民黨立委 江啟臣== 他的個性應該 做這樣的決定也不意外 所以我覺得最後 司馬是打敗了江春男 曾兩度到外交部抗議,並召開記者會呼籲江春男請辭的台灣酒駕防制社會關懷協會，也對江春男的決定表示肯定的態度，他們認為這是防制酒後駕駛很好的示範。另外也曾公開要求江春男辭職換得言論自由的政大台文所講座教授陳芳明,也對此肯定表示這才是司馬文武精神，原本派駐新加坡人事，卻為酒駕風波生變，總統府准辭江春男人事，也讓風波暫時平息。 記者 張志雄 陳立峰 台北報導
