FMR. PRESIDENT LEE CRITICAL OF DPP GOVT. POLICIES|李登輝批蔡政府施政 忽略"一帶一路"衝擊

Former president Lee Teng-hui gave an address at Kaohsiung's National Sun Yat-sen University graduation ceremony in which he encouraged students to pay attention to both Taiwan's development and the international situation. The previous day he had participated in a Democracy Seminar in which he was highly critical about the DPP government's Forward-looking Infrastructure Development Program and felt that government policy was unclear. He also criticized the Tsai administration for not placing any importance on China's "One Belt One Road" policy and expressed that the government's lack of interest in China would negatively impact Taiwan. At his graduation address to National Sun Yat-sen University students, former president Lee Teng-hui reminded them to maintain an international outlook and focus on national development. ==LEE TENG-HUI former President== Every generation has to solve some problems and young people must be present to for successful national reform. Hoping that graduates remained concerned about national social and international development, Lee Teng-hui himself, although retired, continues to criticise the current situation. On June 9, he participated in a democracy seminar held at National Sun Yat-sen University, and was highly critical of Tsai Ing-wen's government promotion of the forward-looking infrastructure projects plan, saying that the government does not know what Taiwan needed. ==Lee Teng-hui Former President (2017.6.9.)== Local governments are just clamouring for money but what they actually want to do, nobody knows clearly, this is a big problem for the direction of Taiwan's economy and industry.
