In China's Guangdong Province two new human cases of the H7N9 avian flu have been reported. There have been 426 cases since October and around 100 deaths. Meanwhile, Taiwan's Centers for Disease Control detected a strain of mutated H7N9 from the first case entering Taiwian, and the virus is said to be cure-resistant. The man, a 69-year-old Taiwanese businessman who contracted the virus in Guangdong, is said to be in unstable conditions and is now under hospitalized care. China's H7N9 virus has spread. One of two people infected in Guanxi Province has died. ==ANCHOR China Central TV== A report from Guanxi's Nanning says that there has been a human death from the H7N9 avian flu virus. The 41 year old patient was a poultry seller at an agricultural market. From October, 1, 2016, when autumn started, there were 426 cases of H7N9. There were 124 in Jiangsu, 75 in Zhejiang, 47 in Guangdong and 45 in Anhui. The death rate is around 40 percent with about 100 people dead. ==China Central TV == In the early stages this infection is similar to a cold and is easy to ignore. Currently there is no vaccine for H7N9. Last month, the first case of H7N9 entered Taiwan is currently in ICU in a serious condition. From tests, the Centers for Disease Control say the H7N9 virus has mutated. It theorizes that the patient had treatment and the virus responded with a mutation. The CDC says the mutated H7N9 is increasingly pathogenic to poultry and currently does not see a higher risk in poultry transmission to humans. ==CDC Dep.
