5.6 MAGNITUDE QUAKE HITS SOUTHERN TAIWAN, NO CASUALTIES REPORTED|南部昨凌晨規模5.6地震 最大震度6級在永康

Another one was small flames with smokes which had been extinguished. Two people felt down and had minor scratches. February 6 was the first memorial anniversary for the earthquake occurred in Tainan last year. For this earthquake, Tainan City Government immediately established a disaster emergency response center. In Kaohsiung, the city government dispatched personnel to check on pipelines. Kaohsiung residents experienced an earthquake at a magnitude of four, many tourists were awakened by the shake. ==CHINESE TOURIST== It felt a pretty strong shake, because we live at high floor. That was the first time we encountered an earthquake at high altitude. To Pingtung and Chiayi, the magnitude was three. According to the National Fire Agency report, four civilians were injured by falling objects and remain in good conditions. Many people posted their safety messages over the facebook.
