Threats of attacks on the Election Day have been made on the city of New York, Texas and Virginia. Due to safety concerns, the NYPD has rejected the Democrats' application for firework displays by the Hudson River. At both the Javits center and New York Hilton Midtown, police and media are standing by. Only supporters of respective candidates are allowed to enter.
