LONG TERM ELDERLY CARE PLAN PILOT LAUNCHED|長照2.0下個月試辦 9個縣市通過審查

To better care for the eldery, the government's Long-term Care Plan 2.0 is expected to begin trial on Nov. 1. The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced that it had reveiwed and approved care plans SUBMITTED BY 9 cities and counties. It is estimated that a total of 18,000 elderly people, including many living in remote indigenous townships, will benefit under the the 2.0 plan. The long term community care plan for the elderly, known as 2.0, will start to run as a pilot scheme from Nov. 1. The MHAW announced that 20 plans were submitted for reveiw and 9 wre approved. The first phase of the three levels of care, A B and C, will start to run on Nov. 1 and service around 18,000 mentally and physically challenged elderly people. ==LU BAO-JING MHAW Deputy Minister == If there is a unit which can offer daycare and care in the home then we can offer service A, integrated community care, then A will look for B, compound daily care, nearby and C which is care stations for each alley and lane. The MHAW said 9 cities and counties including Taipei's Wanhua District, New Taipei City's Xinzhuang, Chiayi City West District Yunlin County Douliu City, Linnei Township, Chaiyi County Monxiong Township Xikou Township Nantou County puli Township, Taoyuan City's Fuxing District and three indigenous townships of: Hualien County Zhuoxi and Yuli Townships and Taitung County's Jinfeng Township were all approved to start running their pilot schemes. However, there is still a lack of 12,000 staff to implement the care system. The MHAW said it would encourage young people to enter that workfroce by raising wages, license examinations and other projects. ==LU BAO-JING MHAW Deputy Minister== In some places there are colleges with geraitric care departments, so they have some cooperation with related education currently running. The MHAW emphasised that during the pilot phase it would offer advice to each area on developing local resources and add to local employment opportunities. In 2017, it hoped to offer the public more convenient and suitable long term care options for the elderly. TRANSLATED BY：CLARE LEAR 攸關老人照護系統的長照2.0計畫，下個月1號要開始試辦，衛福部今天公布共有9個縣市、通過社區整體照顧模式審查，包括台北市萬華區、新北市新莊區、及桃園市復興鄉等3個原住民鄉鎮，第一波試辦，預估將可服務1萬8千多名失能失智的長者。 長照2.0計劃、將在11月1號開始試辦，衛福部公布社區整體照顧模式、各縣市送案審查結果，共有20個縣市提出申請，只有9案、9個縣市通過審查，預估第一波ABC三級服務網，將可服務一萬八千多名、失能失智長者。 ==衛福部次長 呂寶靜== 我有一個比較能夠提供日照 又能夠提供居家服務的單位 那我就有企圖心 我就可以來做A(社區整合服務) 然後他就去找 附近的B(複合型日間服務) 跟C(巷弄長照站) 要串連一起來提供 衛福部表示，這9個縣市包括台北市萬華區；新北市新莊區；嘉義市西區；雲林縣斗六市、林內鄉；嘉義縣民雄鄉、溪口鄉；南投縣埔里鎮、國姓鄉；以及桃園市復興區、花蓮縣卓溪鄉、玉里鎮；及台東縣金峰鄉等三個原住民鄉鎮。；不過長照2.0就要上路，但照顧服務人力、還有1.2萬個缺口，衛福部表示，將從加薪、證照考試等多元方案，鼓勵年輕人投入。 =衛福部次長 呂寶靜== 有的是當地就有這種 老人照顧相關的科系 他們本來就有一些些的 類似產學合作的方案在進行中 衛福部強調，試辦期間將輔導各縣市、發展在地長照資源，並促進當地就業機會，明年、106年將擴大辦理，希望提供民眾最便利性的照顧服務，減輕家屬負擔，落實在地安養、在地老化的目標。 記者賴淑敏 陳信隆 台北報導
