To boost local economy, the government gave away vouchers to be used in night markets around the island. So far, a total of 470,000 vouchers have been used, and Hualien's Dongdamen Night Market seems to be the most popular night market among voucher users.


According to the statistics from the Executive Yuan, a total of 1.82 million vouchers were given away by October 27, and the vendors have received 470,000 vouchers in return. Dongdamen Night Market in Hualien County, eastern Taiwan, has received close to 100,000 vouchers, which is the highest number out of all night markets. Wenhua Road Night Market in Chiayi County comes in second, and Garden Night Market in Tainan City saw the third most vouchers used. In northern Taiwan, Ningxia Night Market has seen the most voucher use. Minister without Portfolio Kung Ming-hsin said that the government will give away another 4 million vouchers in the next two months.



根據行政院統計，夜市券上路一個月，截至27號，共發出182萬張，目前回收47萬張。回收率全台第一名是花蓮東大門夜市、使用近10萬張，受惠最大；其次是嘉義文化路夜市，第三是台南花園夜市，北部第一是寧夏夜市。 行政院政務委員龔明鑫表示，接下來有兩個多月時間，預計再發出400萬張。
