London police have confirmed the Grenfell Tower fire started with a refrigerator unit, and that cladding on the building failed all safety tests. Authorities have ordered the evacuation of 5 other towers that use the same cladding materials. In order to avoid another possible tragedy like Grenfell Tower, London's Camden Council ordered over 4,000 residents to immediately evacuate from five unsafe buildings for fire safety inspections. Some residents took belongings and stayed at hotels, friend's or relative's houses. ==GEORGINA GOULD Leader, Camden Council== I know it's difficult but Grenfell changes everything and I just don't think we can take any risks with our residents' safety and I have to put them first. The exterior claddings used by the five buildings are similar to the ones used by Grenfell Tower. Fire safety inspections may take up from two to four weeks. London police are considering charging Whirlpool with manslaughter.
