VALIANT DECATHLETE'S DEATH MOURNED|古金水告別式 台灣鐵人精神長存　　　　　　　　　　

Amis Taiwanese decathlete Ku Chin-shui passed away last month. His family held his funeral on June 9th. President Tsai Ing-Wen and sportspersons all came. His spirits and outstanding performances will always live in the hearts of all of us. Tsai Ing-Wen expressed her condolences to Ku Chin-shui's family at the funeral. Ku Chin-shui is an Amis Taiwanese decathlete and a pole vaulter who has won medals in Asian Athletics Championships He died of leukemia at the age of 56 on May 25th. ==Ku Chin-shui's wife== He competed in decathlon for 5 times in a month to get into the Olympic Games. We called it "A Shui's spirit". I believe he again showed great perseverance and endeavor when he stayed in the hospital. It's like seeing"A Shui's spirit" again. Sportspersons came to the funeral to see Ku Chin-shui for the last time. I give my best wishes to him. Ku Chin-shui won a lot of medals on the sports field. He even broke Maysang Kalimud's 19-year record in pole vaulting. However, he became a suspect of plane explosion in 1999. He was finally proved to be innocent 12 years later.
