The UK Parliament has been hit by a cyber attack. Hackers tried to access politicians' email accounts. As a measure of safeguard, remote access to the emails has been disabled. The UK's newly formed National Cyber Security Centre is investigating. Baron Chris Rennard of the House of Lords announced the cyber attack on Westminister, and advised his colleagues to text urgent messages. As it turns out, unauthorized attempts have been made to access parliamentary emails, but systems are in place to protect member and staff accounts.
