MND: DRONES INTRUDE IN AIRPORTS WILL BE SHOT DOWN|空拍機闖機場危飛安 國防部令:一律擊落

A drone flying in airspace belonging to the Songshan Airport caused the runway to close for nearly one hour, affecting 6 flights and almost 800 passengers. Defense Minister Feng Shih-kuan said that officers can shoot down any drones that fly into the airports' territory on sight, without approval, if the threat is imminent. A military aircraft about to land in Songshan Airport on February 6 discovered a drone in the airport's restricted airspace.
