CAL WILL TAKE OVER 15 TRANSASIA ROUTES UNTIL FEB 2017|遠航:若華航.長榮沒意願 可考慮接手復興

After TransAsia Airways announced it was closing down, Far Eastern Air Transport was rumored as a possible buyer. Its Chair Chang Kang-wei announced on Nov. 25 that many investors had asked him to take over, but he thought that China Airlines or Evergreen should make the move. If they are not willing, only then will he consider it. To lessen the impact on air transport from Dec. 1, until February 15 next year, China Airlines will take over 15 of Trans Asia Airways' domestic routes. It was rumored that Far Eastern Air Transport may take over TransAsia Airways' business. FAT CEO Chang Kang-wei said that the current aviation restructuring is beneficial to the community, since China Airlines or Evergreen would like to take over air traffic rights, they should have priority to take over the airline, but if China Airlines or Evergreen was unwilling to do so, he would consider taking over. ==CHANG KANG-WEI, FAT Chair== China Airlines and Evergreen should have priority for TransAsia's restructuring, if they really, really, don't want to, then I would consider it. Chang said that the matter is still being discussed but that many banks said that they would assist him if he wanted. EVA Airways has not yet made any response on taking over the airline and China Airlines CEO, Ho Hsuan-hsuan said in the future it will take over all of Transasia's routes. ==LEE YI-CHOU, China Airlines CEO== Air services, plane services, all the aviation services, basically our organisational structure is comprehensive and so to take over the whole shouldn't be a problem. To lessen the impact of the demise of TransAsia Airways on air transport, China Airlines received a directive from the Executive Yuan to take over routes from TransAsia from Dec. 1 to Feb 15 next year. The routes will be Kinmen to Penghu and 15 other routes including 7 from Hualien and Taitung to outlying islands and international routes such as Korea's Jeju Island and Angkor Wat. After this, there will be a review according to Civil Aviation legislation. TRANSLATED BY:CLARE LEAR 復興航空解散,外傳遠東航空可能是復興買主,董事長張綱維昨天首度出面,坦言有不少投資人要他接下重整,但他認為應以華航或長榮優先,如果他們沒有意願,遠航才會考慮。而為了降低對航空運輸衝擊,華航昨天宣布從12月1號起,到明年2月15號,將接手復興航空國內外共15條航線。 復興航空無預警宣布解散,外傳有意接手復興航空的遠東航空董事長張綱維,上午出面表示,目前復興航空重整對社會更有利,既然華航長榮想接手復興的航權,就該優先負起責任接手復興,但若華航長榮不願承擔,他會考慮接手。 ==遠東航空董事長 張綱維== 復興的重整我覺得 長榮 華航 華航 長榮都要優先 那如果真的 真的 這個真的華航 長榮不願意 那我們再來考量 至於遠東航空會不會重整復興,張綱維語帶保留的說還在討論,只表示有不少銀行都說,會給予遠東航空協助。面對張綱維呼籲長榮華航應該先接手復興,長榮目前沒有回應,而華航董事長何煖軒則是透過聲明表示,將全面接手復興所有航線。 ==華航總經理 李宜洲== 航務 機務 所有的空服等等來講 基本上 應該是我們的規模也好 我們所有的這個組織 應該是很健全 (接手)這方面 整體來說 應該不是有太大問題 為降低復興解散對航空運輸衝擊,華航受行政院指示,12月1日起到明年2月15日,除金門飛澎湖的航線外,將接收復興航空15條航線,包含國內線花東離島等7條航線,還有國際線東京濟州、清邁吳哥等8條,2月15日後,再依民航法、重新審議分配航權。 記者 李志華 陳立峰 台北報導
