Park Geun-hye! Step down! Park Geun-hye! Step down!
This was the third time that protesters gathered in front of the Blue house to demand President Park Geun-hye resign from her position. Following the aftermath of the Choi case, the prosecutors have decided to meet with the President on November 15th and even pay a visit to the Blue House to question her face-to-face, if necessary. In order to ascertain the President's level of involvement in Choi Sun-sil's interference in state affairs, prosecutors believed that it was necessary to first investigate whether or not the President took part in Choi's establishment of the two corporations and facilitated her fundraising and access to official documents. This would make President Park Geun-hye the first incumbent president in South Korea to be investigated by prosecutors.

When President Park Geun-hye apologized to the public, she stated that she was willing to cooperate with the prosecutors' investigation if necessary.
Since November 12th, the prosecutors have summoned leaders from Hyundai, Samsung, and other big corporations who had met the President in private to investigate whether or not the President pressured them to provide financial support for Choi's two foundations. A Gallup Korea poll released on November 11th suggested that President Park's approval rating has remained at 5% for two consecutive weeks, which was the lowest since the country's first direct presidential election in 1988. Since October 29th, people have gathered in Seoul to call for President Park to quit. The organizers claimed that a million people turned out at the protest rally on the 12th. The rally was the largest in scale since 1987. As President Park has not responded to the people's protest, civil groups in South Korea planned to hold rallies every weekend in Seoul until she agrees to step down.
