New Legco members use oaths to protest / 香港立法會就職 港獨議題躍檯面　　　　　　　　　　

The Hong Kong Legislative Council, known as Legco, held its inaugural meeting on Oct 12. Two localist Youngspiration councilors, and one from the Professionals Guild had their oaths rejected as they changed the wording, pledging loyalty to the Hong Kong Nation and holding a banner that said 'Hong Kong is not China.' Their oaths were rejected and they were not sworn in. Elections for Hong Kong's Legco took place on Sept 9 and 70 new legislators were elected. On Oct. 12 they had to swear an oath and take up their duties. Their oaths brought the issue of Hong Kong independence into the Legco. ==YAU WAI-CHING Youngspiration councilor== I, Yai Wei-ching do solemnly swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to the Hong Kong nation, and will do the best of my ability to preserve protect and defend the Values of Hong Kong. Yau is from the Youngspiration party and took the pledge wearing a banner that read 'Hong Kong is not China'. She took the oath in English and pledged allegiance to the Nation of Hong Kong and inserted a swearword into the name People's Republic of China each time it was mentioned in the oath. ==Hong Kong Legco Councilor LEUNG KWOW-HUNG== I want a re-election. Liang Chun Ying step down ! Pan-democrat legislator Leung kwow-hung who is known by his nickname, Long hair brought a yellow umbrella to the podium, after he took his oath he ripped an 831 ruling. This is the decision authorizing Hong Kong's first universal suffrage Chief Executive election, scheduled for 2017, that sparked the Umbrella-Occupy street blockades last year. ==Hong Kong Legco Councilor LEUNG KWOW-HUNG== I want a re-election. I want revocation of the National People 's Congress resolution 831. The people want democracy and self-determination. Apart from the legislators mentioned above, Sixtus Leung, Yau Wai-ching and Edward Yiu had their oaths invalidated as they took them in English, to the Hong Kong Nation and added words not in the pledge. On Oct. 19, they have an opportunity to take the oaths again. After disputes about legislative council elections two years ago, the yellow umbrella localist movement started. Six localist representatives have been elected which will herald the start of discussions and dispute within the Legco. TRANSLATED BY：CLARE LEAR 香港立法會本週開議，本土派新血和泛民主派議員聯手，在宣誓就職時，高舉「香港不是中國」的布條，並且更改誓詞，宣誓只效忠香港國，把港獨議題正式帶入體制內抗爭。 香港9月4號舉行立法會選舉，70位新科議員本週正式宣誓就職，揚言把港獨議題帶進議會的本土派議員，果然開了第一槍 香港立法會議員 游蕙禎 我游蕙禎謹此宣誓 我會效忠香港國 並盡我全力守護 保護並捍衛香港價值 出身本土派政黨"青年新政"的游蕙禎，一上台就把寫有「香港不是中國」字樣的布條攤在面前，不只擅改誓詞，說要效忠香港國，還爆粗口，把中國說成支那，極盡貶損之能事。 香港立法會議員梁國雄 我要真普選 梁振英下台 另一位外號長毛的泛民主派議員梁國雄 ，則高舉占中運動醒目的黃雨傘，煞有其事宣誓之後，把假誓詞撕毀 香港立法會議員梁國雄 我要真普選 撤銷人大831決議 人民要民主自決 除了這兩位議員大動作抗爭，另有兩位非建制派議員梁頌恆和姚松炎，也在宣誓中加入香港民族一詞，或誓言爭取真普選，其中3人因此被立法會秘書長判定宣誓無效，必須在19號重新宣誓。針對香港立法會亂象，中國依舊立場強硬 香港兩年前爭取真普選的雨傘革命失敗，本土勢力崛起，這次有六位本土派新血進入議會，利用宣誓大鬧議場，恐怕只是體制內抗爭的開始。 記者 曾惠敏報導
