PENGHU REJECTS CASINO DEVELOPMENT AGAIN|澎湖二次博弈公投 投票率近4成.反賭方大勝

The result of Penghu's second referendum on gaming only saw nearly 40% of voter turn out. 26,000 residents voted against it. Only 6,000 people were in favor of building casinos on the island. The pro-gaming alliance pointed out the result was influenced by politics against the will of Penghu residents. The alliance said it will not push for another referendum again. Voters started casting their votes in Magong City. This second gaming referendum was a big deal to local residents and coming-home young voters. ==MISS HUANG, coming-home young voter== This is Penghu's big deal. Seven years passed, Penghu had its second gaming referendum. A total of 114 polling stations were still tallying the votes at 5pm. The pro-gaming alliance had pointed out the vote result showing a high differentiation. The reason was due to political interference to the will of the residents.
