YOUTH GROUPS CALL FOR PENSION REFORM|青年團體:挺年金改革 盼世代正義

As we just said, military personnel, civil servants and public school teachers protested against pension reform at the Ketagalan Boulevard yesterday. On the same day, some private school teachers expressed their dissatisfaction over the current pension system at the Ministry of Education. A group of young people also called for pension reform to promote inter-generational justice. Private school teachers hope that farmers, laborers and themselves can all receive a better retirement protection. They asked for a monthly retirement pension that is 1.1 times the minimum wage.
