Kenyan wins 9th consecutive gold medal in 3000m steeplechase / 男子3千公尺障礙賽 肯亞完成九連霸

In the Rio Olympic football games, Brazilian football star Neymar set the record for the fastest goal scored in Olympic football history. Brazil beat Honduras 6-0 and will face their old foe Germany in the final. In the men's 3000m steeplechase, young Kenyan runner Kipruto broke the Olympic record to win Kenya's 9th consecutive gold medal in this event. 22-year-old Omar McLeod landed gold in the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 13.05 seconds, winning the first Olympic gold in 110m hurdles for Jamaica and McLeod himself. This is also the first time Team USA has failed to win a medal in this event. ==OMAR MCLEOD, Jamaican Runner== It's a lot of sacrifice. Treating your body right. Being a pro athlete is a sacrifice itself. It's hard work and dedication. In the men's 3000m steeplechase, Kenyan runner Conseslus Kipruto won the gold medal in an Olympic record of 8:03:28 and maintained Kenya's winning streak of 9 consecutive gold medals. Kipruto started to slow down in the last 150m to wave at the audience and was almost overtaken by American runner Evan Jager. ==CONSESLUS KPRUTO, Kenyan Olympic Runner== I was sure he wouldn't follow me. That was my plan. My plan was ok. Spain won a 92-67 victory over France and will be facing Team USA in the Olympic basketball semi-final. Australia entered the basketball semifinal with a 90-64 win against Lithuania. In the Olympic football semifinal, football star Neymar scored a 1-0 lead for Brazil 15 seconds into the game thanks to a loose ball that bounced off his foot. It was also the fastest goal ever scored in Olympic football games. Brazil defeated Honduras 6-0 and made their way into the final. They will be taking on Germany, who won Nigeria in another semifinal 2-0.
