At around 3:00 p.m. local time on the 8th, the Taiwanese search and rescue team heard the faint voice of a trapped woman under the collapsed building through a life detector. The team used heavy equipment to retrieve her.
The woman lost her vital signs for a while during the rescue process. The medical team used accurate medical technology to provide infusion and intubation treatment. Turkey's National Medical Rescue Team performed an extremely difficult amputation directly at the site.
After more than five hours of hard work, the team successfully rescued the woman and recovered her vital signs. She was sent to the hospital for treatment.
The Taiwanese search and rescue team found another trapped victim and is actively carrying out the rescue. Local residents also continued to send food, thanking the Taiwanese search and rescue team for their charitable deeds. 土耳其強震災後50個小時，台灣搜救隊傳出振奮人心的好消息。
當地時間8日下午3時許，台灣搜救隊透過生命探測器，在倒塌建築下聽到一名受困女子的微弱聲音。但女子肢體被嚴重緊壓，加上現場作業空間狹小，搜救人員用破壞器材，才成功救人。
救援過程中，女子一度失去生命徵象，醫療團隊更發揮準確的醫療技術，提供輸液給藥、插管治療，還和UMKE醫療隊伍，直接在搜救現場，執行困難度極高的截肢手術。團隊歷經5個多小時的努力，女子成功獲救也恢復生命徵象，送醫治療。
後來搜救隊又再找到一名受困者，積極搶救中。而當地民眾也不斷送上食物，感謝台灣搜救隊的義舉。
英國廣播公司BBC，也用台灣搜救照片當報導封面，以國家來稱呼台灣；聯合國更正式將台灣搜救隊，列入官方搜救隊網站。讓全世界看到，台灣投入土耳其強震救援行列中，無論政府和民間力量，都不遺餘力。
