A suspect surnamed Su who is believed to be a member of a fraud group shot two men in the head and fled the scene in Taoyuan earlier this month. Police arrested him in Yunlin last night.
The 36-year-old suspect surnamed Su obediently gave up as he was surrounded by a large number of police officers. The driver of an unlicensed private hire vehicle was also listed as a related person. Both of them were taken back to the police station.

Two people were killed in the Taoyuan City shooting on the evening of the 1st. The police targeted the suspect surnamed Su and launched an investigation. After Su escaped, he not only discarded his commonly used mobile phone but also rode cars to create breakpoints, which gave the police a headache. Police found a bag that Su discarded in a bamboo forest in Hualien's Jian Township, which contained a gun, bullets, and personal clothing. Su was later found in Yunlin's Gukeng.
Huang Fu-tsun, Deputy Chief, Taoyuan Precinct, Police Department, Taoyuan City: “We suspect Su to be the lead suspect according to relevant evidence. We immediately formed a task force to track him down and asked the Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office to lead the investigation.”
On the evening of the 4th, police stopped Su's car in the northbound direction of National Highway 3 in Yunlin County's Gukeng and successfully arrested him. Su was interrogated during the day on the 5th and then transferred to the Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office on suspicion of homicide. Similar shootings have occurred in the past two months since four were shot dead at a Nantou biotechnology company in July. This includes the owner of a Taichung braised snacks stall and at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital's waiting room. Police are trying hard to prevent the imitation effect.

桃園市1號晚間發生槍殺命案造成兩人死亡，警方鎖定蘇姓嫌犯嫌疑重大，展開調查，由於蘇嫌逃亡後不但把常用手機丟棄，還搭車製造斷點讓警方相當頭痛，查緝過程中，先在花蓮吉安鄉一處竹林，發現蘇嫌丟棄的包包，裡頭有手槍、子彈及個人衣物，後續又掌握他出現在雲林古坑。
桃園市警局桃園分局分局長黃富村表示：「本案發生後依據相關事證，鎖定蘇姓嫌犯涉嫌重大，立即組成專案小組來追查，並報請桃園地檢署指揮偵辦。」
警方4號傍晚在國道三號雲林縣古坑北上路段攔查到了蘇嫌座車，順利逮人，由於蘇嫌拒絕夜間偵訊，因此將等今天早上進一步訊問後，再依殺人罪嫌移送桃園地檢署偵辦。不過從七月南投生技公司四死槍擊命案開始，近兩個月陸續發生台中滷味攤老闆、高醫候診室等類似案件，警方也嚴防模仿效應發生。
