Third Day into the SCI Pharmtech Fire 旭富大火延燒逾48小時 爆炸瞬間畫面曝光

The fire that consumed the SCI Pharmtech in Yaoyuan broke out three days ago, and the drug company and nearby factories are still dealing with its aftermath. According to estimates, the fire has caused NT$1.8 billion in damages.
The surveillance camera captured the moment of the fire blast at the SCI Pharmtech Inc. The blast was so intense that it caused the camera to shake. The fire has not only cost SCI Pharmtech an estimated NT$1 billion in damages but also affected factories in the proximity, including BS Link, Taoyuan Paper Manufacturing, Tong Yang Industry Co. and Gwo Chern Industrial Co. who have lost a total of NT$800 million. The fire has caused NT$1.8 billion in damages.

Roughly we have lost about NT$200 million to NT$300 million. Assets such as machineries, computers and some intangible assets. Also, we are suffering some operating losses because we need to pay penalty fees for delay in delivery, which is quite troublesome.
Disaster relief work is currently in progress after the fire has been put out. Excavators are still working at nearby BS Link and the Taoyuan Paper Manufacturing Company, which were unfortunately affected by the spread of the fire. Firefighters are still putting out residual fires at the scene. Chunghwa Telecom has set up cell towers near the fire scene to facilitate communications between factory employees and rescue personnel.
We are still putting out residual fire at the factories of Taoyuan Paper Manufacturing Company and the BS Link Company.
There are 44 types of toxic chemicals used in this factory which is the building on the right-hand side in front of us. Fortunately, the fire did not spread to here.
The Emergency response of Toxic Substance Unit, together with the Department of Environmental Protection in Taoyuan are monitoring air pollution and water pollution level in the area. Currently no abnormalities are found. The Labor Inspection Office has ordered SCI Pharmtech to temporarily suspend production and will investigate and affix the responsibility for the accident.
監視器拍下旭富製藥爆炸一瞬間，威力之大，連監視器都受到震動。除了旭富本身粗估損失10億元，受波及的鴻利紡織、桃園紙廠、東陽工業、國晟工業等工廠也損失8億，一場大火一口氣燒掉18億元。
桃園紙廠公司表示：「（你們有保險嗎？) 保險有。（但是保險應該不夠？) 不夠，絕對不夠。（桃紙大約損失多少，你知道嗎？) 數億，好幾億，受損面積大約6千多坪。」
東陽精機公司表示：「我們粗估2、3億跑不掉，機器、電腦還有一些無形的資產。我的營業損失，我後續要交貨延遲的違約金，頭痛。」
現場一片狼藉，大火救災還在進行，旭富雖然火勢熄滅了，但受波及的鴻利紡織、桃園紙廠目前由怪手開挖，加上水線灑水，進行殘火處理。中華電信也在火災現場附近架設基地台，協助廠區和救災人員4G網路使用。
消防局第三大隊副大隊長 陳仲文表示：「桃園紙業公司，以及鴻利針織廠，這兩個廠區，因為它還有一些殘火，還在燃燒。所以我們要針對這兩個廠區，做殘火處理。」
桃市環保局長 呂理德表示：「大概有44種，他申請毒性化學運作，都是在我們前面右手邊這棟，並沒有燒到波及，所以這是不幸中的萬幸。」
旭富大火持續由環保署毒化災資訊小組和桃園市環保局對空汙、水汙進行監測，目前皆無異常。而勞檢處已依照職安法36條諭令製程區停工，後續依火調結果究責。
