The 36th Han Kuang military exercise entered its fourth day. A joint anti-aircraft operation was held at the Taipei Songshan Airport, while anti-beach landing exercises were held in Hualien and Taitung. Let's take a look.
The red-helmeted enemies are trying to take over Taipei Songshan Airport and seize control of the command center. Songshan Command sends V-150s and troops to defend the airport. They attack the airborne enemy.
Clouded Leopard armored vehicles ferry the strike force, which eliminates the enemy. The 36th Han Kuang military exercise entered the fourth day on July 16 with a joint anti-aircraft operation at Taipei Songshan Airport. The exercise simulated an attempt by air- and land-based enemy forces to seize control of the airport, which would threaten Taiwan's political and economic center. The 202nd Military Police Regiment, Air Force's Songshan Command, and the Army's Guandu Area Command immediately marshal and launch a counterstrike that successfully repels the enemy.
Anti-beach landing exercises were also held on eastern beaches. At Hualien's Fude Beach, M60A3 tanks were dispatched and 105mm howitzer battalions awaited orders.
Red smoke was released on the beach, signaling the landing of enemy troops onto Taitung's Zhiben Beach. The military launched an anti-beach landing operation. Three M113 armored personnel carriers immediately emerge from the underbrush and come to the support of the frontline troops. M60A3 tanks then open fire, laying down three suppressive rounds.
Zhiben Beach is the most vulnerable beach in eastern Taiwan. This is why the military chose the location for an anti-beach landing exercise. Armored cars were sent to the beach with soldiers providing cover from the sides. They overwhelmed and annihilated the enemy, successfully completing the mission of defending eastern Taiwan.
