Nobel Peace laureate Liu Xiaobo's condition has worsened, says the hospital treating him. The health of China's best-known political prisoner is now critical and doctors are in "active rescue" mode. Lying in the center on a hospital bed and surrounded by doctors is reportedly Chinese human rights activist, Liu Xiaobo. The video surfaced on the internet over weekend but its validity has not been independently verified. Chinese doctors at the First Hospital of China Medical University say in a latest statement that Liu, who has been diagnosed with cancer, is suffering from a severely swollen stomach, low blood pressure and poor kidney function. An MRI scan has also revealed growing cancer lesions. Liu was on Sunday visited by two foreign doctors, who said Liu wanted to be treated abroad.
