National Taiwan University's Professor Kuo Min-liang is suspected of receiving briberies of up to NT$7 million for adding other professors as co-authors of academic research papers. The National Taiwan University said the case is still under investigation and offered no further comment. Eleven dissertations have been suspected of inappropriate manipulations, Professor Kuo Min-liang of the Institute of Biochemical Sciences had submitted his letters of resignation to the National Taiwan University and Kaohsiung Medical University.
