Overseas Chinese Enjoy National Day Concert in Yilan|國慶晚會宜蘭登場 演出各年代特色金曲

The Double Ten National Day concert was held on the evening of Oct. 9 in Yilan. The entertainment program included performances of classic songs by nine artists and groups and took the audience back in time.


Singer Yeh Chi-tien takes the audience back in time with one of his classic hits. The Double Ten National Day concert was held at Yilan Sports Park on Oct. 9.

The program included performances by three generations of artists to symbolize the passing of the torch. Titled "2018 Taiwan, Together," the evening centered on ethnic harmony and featured Taiwanese opera, Hoklo, folk and indigenous performances.

Chinese Taipei athletes returned to Taiwan in triumph in 2018. Lee Chih-kai, Tang Chia-hung and Chen Chih-yu won glory for Taiwan with gold medals.

Many of the overseas Chinese in attendance arrived in Yilan the day before, which was an economic boost for the county. The event not only allowed everyone to enjoy the beauty of Yilan, but the beauty of Taiwanese culture as well.
