CHANGHUA HIGH SPEED RAIL TO LINK WITH HISTORIC JIJI LINE|前瞻建設計畫 高鐵彰化站可連接集集支線

The Jiji Line is one of Taiwan's most historic railway routes. The Executive Yuan plans to connect the rails between high speed rail station and Tien-chung train station. This convenient access means travelers don't have to transfer twice to get to Jiji station. But before that happens, shuttle buses are now available in the hopes of boosting local tourism.. Passengers get on to the train and enjoy seeing beautiful scenery. Jiji Line is the longest rail line, crowds appear in weekdays and weekends. However, if you want to get to Jiji Station, you will need to make a transfer at Ershuei Station. Some passengers said, if they were able to take regular train to Jiji from High Speed Rail's Changhua Station, that would add much more convenience to their trips. ==MR. We hope to make the High Speed Rail's Changhua Station as a tourism entrance to Nantou. Changhua County Government and Taiwan Rails Administration are seeking solutions to land expropriation and route alternatives. To make an ease for passengers, starting April 27, six trains are to depart daily from Tien-chung Station. Passengers only have to take High Speed Rail shuttle to Tien-chung Station, and there is the Jiji Line. Passengers no longer need to transfer twice to get to Jiji Line.
