RESCUE HELICOPTER CRASHES IN ITALIAN MOUNTAINS|義國大薩索山 醫療直升機墜毀釀6死

Six people died on Tuesday in a helicopter crash in the mountains of central Italy. The chopper came down during a mission to fly an injured skier to the hospital. This doomed rescue operation happened a week after a hotel in the region was engulfed by a deadly avalanche, killing at least 16 people. The two incidents were not related and It is not yet known what caused the helicopter to come down. A medical emergency helicopter carrying six people crashed in a mountainous area of central Italy on Tuesday roughly about 100 km from the site of last week's avalanche that buried a hotel. All those on board were killed. While the death toll for the avalanche has increased to 16, the rescue team is still searching for the missing 13 people. The helicopter was not part of the ongoing rescue operations at the hotel. Instead, it was on its way to a hospital after picking up an injured skier. A few days before the avalanche, a weather warning had been issued. Now, an investigation has been carried out to identify who was responsible for failing to evacuate the hotel guests. Coincidentally, the investigation team discovered that the hotel was located at the site where the 1936 avalanche had taken place.
