CHINA CONTINUES MASSIVE OIL, HYDRO INVESTIMENTS IN LATIN AMERICA|習近平訪問厄瓜多 簽署20項雙邊協

Before Chinese leader Xi Jinping took part in the APEC leaders' meeting on Nov. 17 in Peru, he first visited Ecuador and signed 20 bilateral agreements. At the same time, China's China National Petroleum Group Chairman Wang Yilin, signed US$2.2 billion oil production loan programs in Venezuela. On Nov. 17, Venezuela's national oil company signed a deal with China National Petroleum Group Chairman, Wang Yilin, with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro as witness. The deal was a loan worth US$2.2 billion to increase Venezuelan oil production. ==NICOLAS MADURO Venezuelan President== This agreement brought by Wang Yilin and the ambassador will allow us to achieve the goal of raising production by 277,000 barrels, and by cooperating with China we can produce over 80,000 barrels a day. China is Venezuela's largest creditor, and is also the biggest lender in oil loans, it has totaled more than US$ 40 billion in loans over the past five years, and some of Venezuela's debt has been offset by oil. On Nov. 17, Chinese President Xi Jinping 17 arrived in Ecuador to visit the country and promote economic and trade exchanges between the two sides. The two signed 20 bilateral agreements. Xi Jinping will lead Asian countries at the opening ceremony of the Coca Coda Sinclair hydroelectric power plant which they have invested in.
