The Chicago Cubs home game against the San Francisco Giants was the second in the National League Division Series. Over 40,000 fans packed the Wrigley Field for two consecutive days. While the manager of the San Francisco Giants Bruce Bochy was giving an in-game interview, praising his pitchers for being good batters as well, the Cubs relief pitcher Travis Wood, who took over for Hendricks, hit a solo home run and became the third pitcher to hit a home run in the Cubs' postseason history. The Cubs pitchers delivered excellent performance and thwarted the Giants from scoring more runs after the third inning. The Cubs eventually secured a 5-2 victory against the Giants. TRANSLATED BY：CHRISTINA LIU
