The disaster in Hungye hasn't stopped here. The bridge to roads outside the township has been blocked by the mudslides, leaving residents with no choice but to take the old Luming Bridge for the time being. The Lung Kuo Mai section of the Hualien-Taitung highway has also experienced mudslides affecting traffic.
