Taipei City Mayor Ko Wen-je has been on the offensive as of late. Several days ago, he described Premier Su Tseng-chang as shameless. On July 19, he hinted that it's sad to see the choices Taiwanese people have for presidential candidates. He also accused the central government of blocking Taipei City Government projects, saying this will only lead to more resentment.

Taipei City Mayor Ko Wen-je has been on the offensive as of late. On July 19, presidential candidates Tsai Ing-wen and Han Kuo-yu were the targets as he expressed his hopelessness over the current state of affairs. Ko's remarks came in response to questions about a project to build an access road for the National Biotechnology Research Park. The National Development Council required the Taipei City Government to use centrally-allotted tax revenues to pay the NT$800 million budget, and Ko was not happy about this.

I don't want this to become contentious and end up building up my resentment.

The Taipei City Government previously encountered roadblocks put up by the central government for its Taipei Twin Towers project. Now, it has seen its budget blocked again. There were talks that the independent faction led by Ko may team up with the Democratic Progressive Party for the 2020 elections, but that possibility appears to be more and more remote.

總統 蔡英文表示：「（白綠要合作的話，必須要有什麼條件？)…下一題，一時之間沒有想到這問題。」

台北市長 柯文哲表示：「她一定會陷入長考。（怎麼說？) 反正他們兩面手法也習慣了，一邊說要跟你合作，一邊打你。」

柯文哲不願再挨打，近日砲火全開，大罵蘇貞昌不要臉，卻被冷處理，柯文哲表示蘇貞昌越講，就會罵越兇，到時候再把蘇貞昌保安宮發誓的事端出來，蘇貞昌會越痛苦。
