A company in the U.S. is helping pets and animals to get back on their feet, paws, or hooves by providing them with prosthetic limbs. Its founder Derrick Campana started out making human prosthetics but now he's helping 200 animals a month to regain their mobility, including cats, dogs, even elephants and pandas. The orthotist from Virginia, US used to make prosthetics for army veterans until he was approached in 2005 by a vet who needed one made for a dog. He saw a niche market and dedicated himself to animal care. He has become the go-to person for animals in need worldwide.
